Here's a picture I drew in honor of today, of the Monwell family! Hard to believe it's been a whole year since all of us had that photo shoot and made that little film. Oh, the memories!

The reason why Edward is the only one with red eyes is because when the inventor (Christov Monwell) made him, (Edward was the first doll to be created, then Annabella and then the children later on) he wanted the doll to be a reflection of himself; if not a son-like figure, then a brother or extension. Christov was very lonely, and we do not know exactly what went so terribly wrong in his life, but the red around the eyes symbolizes how much he cried. As for the rest of the family, the dark eyes represent Christov's fatigue.
