So BIOSHOCK INFINITE.
At PAX East I got to see the Bioshock panel on creating Elizabeth with the production team, which was so fantastic. Then I got to meet Ken Levine (!!!) twice (!!!!!) as well as other members of the Infinite team. The second time I met Levine was at the midnight release in Boston, to which and I dressed up as splicers and it was SO FRIGGIN COLD BUT SO WORTH IT cuz we got keys to Liz's tower for dressing up, and a photo with Ken Levine
So since the game's been out it's been taking over my sketchbook, which I don't mind because it keeps me drawing XD PortCon just happened and I'm having MAJOR post-con blues Why can't it just be PortCon all the time? I had a blast and and I dressed as both versions of Elizabeth and had our respective Bookers with us, as well as a Rosalind Lutece! We won Best Walk-On and received the Judge's Award for Craftsmanship. It was awesome. And then Ken Levine shared one of the photos from the con of my sister and I on his facebook page, using it to hint at a NEW ELIZABETH in the DLC which is going to be revealed in a few weeks!
Anyway this has been a ramble about Bioshock, hasn't it The con was excellent, and I had an AWESOME TRON MEETUP ON SATURDAY. Omu it was so much fun, Rinzler and I took a ton of photos and they turned out so well! x3 It meant so much to not be the only program--I mean method acting is cool and all but being the only ISO can get a little lonely xD So it was nice to meet up with Daft Punk and Rinzler, and then my friend was Casual Tron-Waldo which was a lot of win
Oh yes and I saw THE GREAT GATSBY four times! I loved it (obviously) and I can't wait for it to come out so I can have it playing in the background all the time xD But yeah I think the cast did an amazing job and every time I see it it leaves me with such a deep profound feeling that I can't even speak. And no one else can, either, because the theater is always holding its breath when the green light fades into the darkness. It's so cool.
And here it is almost the 4th of July! Where I will be sporting my Battleship Bay shirt in true Columbian patriotic style, hehe (I'm such a geek oh my god XD)
